Community Engagement and Empowerment

  • Engagement strategy and skills training for managers and frontline staff across the community sector;
  • Community consultation and research project on environmental volunteering across the 5 Olympic Boroughs, for the Changing Places Board of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games;
  • Two 1-year Community Leadership programmes with the London Borough of Camden across five estates to increase resident engagement and improve partnership working between residents and professionals;

Education and Young People

  • An award winning 9-month schools project across the 5 Olympic Boroughs. Kaizen is now starting the 3rd year of this programme which is focused on developing leadership and responsibility;
  • Leadership workshops for young people at Primary and Secondary Schools, as well as Specialist Academies;
  • Training and coaching for heads, teachers, learning mentors and school support staff;
  • Leadership training as part of a Masters degree on behalf of Teach First;
  • A multi-agency pilot project for Transport for London to address the issue of young peoples’ behaviour on buses;
  • Intensive residential training for at risk young people, for Young Potential East Midlands;
  • Delivery of residential for young people involved in the MyPlace scheme for Enfield council;
  • Leadership training for the Uprising programme, for The Young Foundation;
  • Leadership training for the Youth of Today fellowship programme for Changemakers;
  • A training programme to support young Premier League footballers for Southampton Football Club;
  • A programme to act as a bridge back to education for teenagers at risk of exclusion from school, in partnership with Young Potential East Midlands;
  • School Council Leadership Programme in a cluster of 10 schools in Hackney;
  • Leadership training for Young Advisors UK from London and the Midlands;
  • Support and training for the Young Advisor group in Hammersmith and Fulham;
  • Leadership training sessions for the Young Advisor group in Hammersmith and Fulham;
  • Leadership workshops for youth charities such as Children’s Express;
  • Leadership workshop for young people with disabilities for Barnardo’s;
  • Coaching for heads and SMT’s;

Management Capacity Building and Professional Development

  • 2-year Management Capacity Building and Developing Resourcefulness Programme for Liverpool City Council;
  • 6 x Training trainers programmes, (of 4 days each), for in-house trainers for Liverpool City Council;
  • 6 Training trainers programmes (4 days each) for in-house trainers for Liverpool City Council;
  • Bespoke management training and coaching;
  • Professional Development Training for Raleigh International staff;
  • 2-year professional development training programme for the Diversity and Social Inclusion team for Liverpool City Council;
  • 1-year Multi-agency Engagement and Coaching Skills Programme for Youth Professionals from the London Borough of Brent;
  • 1-year Coaching programme, ‘Ambassadors for Change’, for managers to further develop their skills in managing, coaching and accountability;
  • Facilitating staff days for organisations such as Common Purpose, Raleigh, and local authority staff teams to engender cultures of resourcefulness, ownership and effectiveness.


Employment

  • An intensive 2 week programme for unemployed East London graduates for the Young Foundation;
  • 2-year Training and Coaching Skills programme for the Diversity and Social Inclusion team, Liverpool City Council;
  • 1-year package of training, coaching and supervision for employment advisors and managers from the Training Network Group;
  • 2-year mentor training programme for Liverpool City Council;
  • An intensive personal development programme to re-engage long-term unemployed in the possibility of employment, for Working Links;
  • Coaching Training for the Brent In2 Work team;
  • Personal effectiveness and coaching training for employment teams in the London Borough of Enfield;
  • Training and individual coaching programme for trainees with disabilities and/or from ethnic minorities for Liverpool City Council;
  • Group work training and supervisions for Connexions staff.


Care Sector

  • 3-year coaching, training and supervision package for managers and staff for Action for Children;
  • Training and supervision for staff of private and statutory care providers who work with looked-after children such as Barnardo’s and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
  • Crisis intervention to raise standards in under performing care homes for organisations including Barnardo’s and London Care Solutions;
  • Keynote speeches and facilitation at conferences for organisations such as Barnardo’s, Action for Children, Care Leavers Foundation, Progress Care, Suffolk CC
  • Leadership workshop for LAC’s in foster care and their foster families and siblings for Progress Care
  • Engagement skills training for London Care Solutions

 

Project Evaluation and Consultation

  • Evaluation of a large scale anti-smoking campaign for Smoke Free North West;
  • Delivery of a deep dive case study on best practice in youth empowerment, for Young Advisors UK, as part of a project for the National Empowerment Partnership;
  • Design and delivery of an evaluation of a social enterprise in schools programme pilot for the Changemakers Foundation
  • Design of evaluation methodology and training of youth evaluators for Vinvolved East London;
  • Delivery of training on evaluation for the Young Foundation;
  • Design of evaluation methodology and protocol for the Fastlaners programme for the Young Foundation;
